Day 3 – Chennai / Trichy
Morning city sightseeing tour of Chennai visiting Museum (closed on Fridays and Public Holidays). Drive through the Flower and Fruit Market., High Court, Fort Museum, Marina Beach, St. Thomas Cathedral and Snake Park. Later transfer to Railway Station to board train Vaigai Express to Trichy. Upon arrival in Trichy transfer to hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.


Day 4 – Trichy/Tanjore (60 Kms) 
Morning sightseeing tour of Trichy visiting the ancient temples dedicated to Lord Ganpati., 434 steps cut out into rock side and interspersed with shrines lead to the temple, yet another flight leads to Temple of Lord Shiva. Afternoon depart by surface to Tanjore and upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel. 

Day 5 – Tanjore / Madurai (158 Kms) 
Morning city sightseeing tour of Tanjore visiting the beautiful Chola Temple of Brihadeshvara which is capped by a monolithic cupola made of single granite block weighing 80 tonnes. Afternoon depart by surface for Madurai and upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.


Day 6 – Madurai 
Full day sightseeing tour of Madurai including visit to Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering gopurams. Aslo visit th Tirumala Nayak Palace famous for the stucco work on its domes and arches. Overnight at the Hotel.


Day 7 – Madurai / Periyar (160 Kms) 
Depart by surface for Periyar upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Evening boat ride on Lake Periyar to view wildlife viz. Wild Boars, Sambars, Langur Monkeys and Wild Elephants. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 8 – Periyar / Kumarakom (185 kms) 
Depart by surface for Kottayam and upon arrival transfer to Jetty to travel by boat to Kumarakom where check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 9 – Kumarakom / Cochin (92 Kms) 
Morning at leisure for optional visit to Bird Sanctuary. Later depart by boat on the back waters to Alleppey and by surface from Alleppey to Cochin. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Evening free for optional Kathakali dance show. Overnight at the Hotel.


Day 10 – Cochin 
Morning city sightseeing tour of Cochin visiting the Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays), Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church and Santa Cruz Church. Afternoon at leisure for optional boat ride on backwaters. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 11 – Cochin / Ooty (281 Kms) 
Depart by surface for Ooty and upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon city tour visiting the Lake and Botanical Gardens. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 12 – Ooty / Mysore (159 Kms) 
Depart by surface for Mysore and upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon city tour of Mysore visiting the palace of the Maharaja built in 1911-12. Visit the Art Gallery, drive upto Chamundi Hll to see Chamundeshwari Temple and a panoramic view of Mysore. On your way back , see the Nandi Bull. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 13 – Mysore / Hassan (120 Kms) 
Depart for Hassan en-route visitng Srirangapatnam. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Belur – one of the finest specimens of Hoysala architecture. Its Temple of Lord Channakeshava is embellished with carving which has few equals in the world. Later visit Halebid – The seat of Hoysala Kingdom, its Hoyaeswara Temple was built in the typical Hoysala style architecture. A stellar base with the emblem of the lion and elephants seemingly supporting the temple, signify stability. Overnight at the Hotel 

Day 14 Hassan / Bangalore (210 Kms) 
Depart by surface for Bangalore en-route visiting Sravanbelgoal. Upon arrival in Bangalore check-in at the hotel. Afternoon city tour of Bangalore – the Garden City visiting the Lal Bagh which has a variety of Old Trees, Fountains, Lotus Pools, Terraces and an assortment of Tropical herbs and Sub-tropical Herbs. Also see the Government Buildings and the Maharaja’s Palace. Overnight at the Hotel 

Day 15 – Bangalore / Mumbai

Day at leisure till in time transfer to airport to connect flight for Mumbai. Upon arrival in Mumbai transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination. An overnight stay can be envisaged in Mumbai depending on onward flight departure at an additional cost.
